Western Carinthia: Description

The region West Carinthia lies in the west of the federal state and comprises the districts Spittal an der Drau, Feldkirchen and Hermagor. The region borders Italy to the south, East Tyrol to the west, Salzburg to the north and Styria to the east. Western Carinthia is characterised by the Drau, the Gail, the Millstätter and the Weißensee.
