Upper Styria: Description
The Upper Styria region lies in the north of the federal state and in the heart of Austria. Upper Styria comprises the districts of Murtal, Liezen, Bruck-Mürzzuschlag, Murau and Leoben. It is the largest regional constituency of the federal state and is geographically particularly rich in mountains and forests. The region is located on the Austrian Iron Road and is not only a popular tourist destination, but also industrial in the east.
